As I\u2019ve done for previous TV shows, I offered to create a special piece of running art for the shoot &#8211; in this case the word \u6771\u4eac (Tokyo) written in Kanji, focused on the area around Tokyo Station and the Imperial Palace. It turned out to be a little more challenging than anticipated as it just so happened that Google had dropped support for &#8216;My Maps\u2019 in their mobile apps (the updated version of Google Maps for Android was released shortly after I completed the run!), leaving me without a user-friendly guide to follow. <\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/josephta.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/nhk_IMG_0176-950x713.jpg\" alt=\"nhk_IMG_0176\" width=\"950\" height=\"713\" class=\"aligncenter size-large wp-image-2223\" srcset=\"https:\/\/josephta.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/nhk_IMG_0176-950x713.jpg 950w, https:\/\/josephta.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/nhk_IMG_0176-590x443.jpg 590w, https:\/\/josephta.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/nhk_IMG_0176-1080x810.jpg 1080w, https:\/\/josephta.me\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/12\/nhk_IMG_0176.jpg 2048w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 950px) 100vw, 950px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Despite that, the shoot went really well, and I\u2019m pleased with how it turned out (nice job by the editor).
