Joseph Tame on TWIT with Leo Laporte & Sarah Lane

Another ambition fulfilled – to meet and be interviewed by Leo Laporte, founder of the TWiT network.

Whilst in Paris to present at Le Web ’11, I was fortunate to meet / share a taxi with Leo Laporte when attending a reception party hosted by the Prime Minister at the Elysee Palace. Leo, along with Sarah Lane, was providing coverage of the event through a Tricast studio they had set up on site. I explained to Leo what I did, and how in a way he was the inspiration for it.

Back in the days when I first started getting into Apple devices (I’d just got my first iPod) I started listening to TWiT and MacBreak Weekly. This encouraged my love of the brand and its products, and led to my purchasing an iPhone as soon as I stepped off the plane in Japan.

A little while later I strapped it to my head and ran a quarter marathon.

There was no turning back.

I had a lot of fun during this interview – hope you enjoy it too.
